Exactly. That the Touch -"will only talk to devices than can install and run a copy of Squeeze Box Server"- is a basic characteristic of all Squeezeboxes. Many NASs are 'too fussy' -- or more precisely, too closed and/or too underpowered -- to run SBS. These NASs may be fine for their intended use (Network Attached _Storage_), but simply not up to the task of running an audio server.
