It might be possible to use relative paths in playlists. I've never tried it with Squeezebox Server, but it works with some software.
So, if you have a structure like D:\Music D:\Playlists your playlists might contain paths that look like ..\Music\<etc.> instead of D:\Music\<etc.> If you move both directories to the E: drive, it should still work. But this could easily be more trouble than the situation it attempts to fix. You couldn't, for instance, move the playlist folder to the F: drive and have it still work.
