I got that ALL THE TIME with 7.6 and some 7.70 Beta's. Since 7.0
release and 7.1 I don't get that error anymore upon a scan.
I also use the tiny server in the Touch with a 2 TB drive. What might
help is to delete the Squeezebox cache folder on your attached drive (
I share my drive and can delete it from my PC). It will then force a
full scan.
You can also go back to an older fireware and try the update again.
6.54 was my fall back one as it ALWAYS worked. You can get it and more
here http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/
Just copy the BIN file to the root directory of your attached drive
and then do a software update and choose the one you want from the the
list. One word of caution. It seems if you are using Internet Explorer
to DL the BIN file it wants to give it a ZIP extension instead. So
mannually change it to BIN. I am using I.E. 8.0 so it might just be the
version I am using.

Hope this helps
