In practice those days i like the touch screen for easy setup, but as it visibility is limited compared to vfd i use iPeng on my iPad as my primary interface so I use the screen mainlybfor screensaver with album cover. Running a small server with limited resources gives another reason for Touch it has more native support for codecs no more transcoding of 24/96 material which it does natively.
