If you are using VortexBox, the preferred art location is cover.jpg in each album directory.
If you want to find or upgrade cover art, bliss works very well for this. http://www.blisshq.com. I have it set to look for cover art 500x500 or larger. This displays well on my iPad with iPeng or SqueezePad. Well worth the cost.
