Single core limits you to a network speed of 100Mb/s. Dual core allows you to operate at either 100 or 1000Mb/s. I'm not sure about the "suspend" option but suspect it enables automatic suspension of Vortexbox activity if the SBT has been idle for longer than 4 hours.
