The only way a Touch will see the NAS directly is if the NAS is running LMS. Is this NAS box capable of running LMS? In your other setup you had LMS running on a separate computer and THAT server was seeing the NAS and sending the data to the Touch. If you don't have LMS running on another computer then it needs to be running on the NAS itself.
