Hello. Sorry if this have been covered before. I did search.
I have an SB Touch with the Triode "enhanced digital out" installed. I also will soon have a Metrum Octave DAC attached via coax out. Now, I would like to know if I can make Logitech Media Server upsample all my music to either 176/24 or 192/24 prior to sending it via cabled ethernet to my SB Touch. This is because reports claim that the Metrum Octave DAC sounds better when fed upsampled music. Alternatively, I know that I could use a USB to SPDIF-converter (with upsampling) to do this but I like to keep things simple (and inexpensive). Any thoughts?
