Please write me, if you want a refund for SqueezePad (support(at)squeezepad.com). We can arrange a refund directly via PayPal or you write to Apple via the "report a problem" button in your purchase confirmation e-mail, which works as well to get a refund.
As you can see in the AppStore comments SqueezePad works fine for the vast majority of people, so for whatever reason something in your environment must be very strange.
