Just tried the Arcam Dacr hoping for massive improvements as lots of recommendations to have an external Dac on the Sqeezbox, but I found no change to sound what so ever . Saved myself £300 and will continue to enjoy the sound as it is, useing the very good Dac in the box. So IMO external Dac not needed in my system anyway - Cyrus 8 Amps feeding Vienna Beethoven Concert Grands speakers.
