Thanks for this Michael.I've managed to follow your instructions and have set up the hiface with no problems.It is attached to an MF M1Dac. I've always been curious as to whether the hiface and usb out would be worthwhile. My initial observations regarding sound may be influenced by placebo but I feel there may be a differences in soundstage and detail. I will listen further and report if this is confirmed.
