so basically the spOS is a cut down debian with SP installed, and LMS installs the same as it would on a normal debian server. I wonder why the "install LMS" doesn't get the latest (stbale) package automatically. Perhaps it's hard coded in there. Thanks again! the next time I am in Leeds I'll get you a beer!
