Hi Triode, First of all outstanding work, really adds new life to the Touch. Couple of questions for Triode or anyone and I did read the entire thread - all 160 some pages. I'm running coax into an Emotiva Stealth DC-1 and all sample rates work great even on an SD Card.
1. Is it normal to lose all Touch sound effects after installing EDO? 2. Under settings for EDO one option is a kernel update - how do I know if I need would need this? 3. Should any one output - coax, optical, or USB be preferred? 4. This DAC has settings for Synchronous or Asynchronous - tried both and at least with coax no difference. Should one be preferred or is this setting more just for USB.
