I installed EDO this morning, but was getting a lot of dropouts when 192 files were playing and audible popping when they were paused. I tried reinstalling, rebooting, different sources...
Eventually I replaced the nice thick 2m optical cable with a weedy-looking 30cm one. Success! With hindsight, obvious maybe - but it might help someone else from tearing their hair out.
