i had prepared a substantive response, but lost it all through navigation. Bottom line is that I seldom use the device-based control, so therefore don't much care about the screen issues for Touch or Transporter. I never, I mean never, use the device controls, only the Android apps or the original Controller. I would be sad if my Transporter, for instance, lost it's screen, but this wouldn't be a catastrophe.
