Sorry to bump an old thread but this problem is more or less on the same wavelength.
I've got a Squeezebox Touch, running the latest software. Installed are DSDplayer and EDO, with USB-out to my Hegel H360, which accepts DSD only through USB. I have confirmed this as I have played 64DSD files from my laptop to the Hegel with this USB cable. Files are found on the server and play fine on the SBT. When DSD-over-PCM is NOT checked, music plays fine. However, once clicked, I get a low-volume hiss sound and nothing plays. Uncheck the box again and things play as intended. Not sure why this is happening, as from what I understand, enabling DSD-over-PCM should allow the DAC in my Hegel H360 to do the conversion instead of the server(?) (computer in my office). Any insight would be greatly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ msommers's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65766 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104045 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
