Have you had the problem since the new rips? Is there something different in the manner in which they were ripped (metadata?). Would it be too much work/time/effort to remove them, do a clear and rescan and then see if the problem is resolved. Whilst typing I thought about how the folder is mapped for Windows, has the drive letter changed? has Windows dropped the connection at all?
