I've already spotted a couple things wrong with it (chsh should not default y out of pending) but it was well past time to Do The Thing...
The 2 year anniversary of seriously starting shell work (commit 7fceed5f75c9) is June 25th. Possibly I can get the shell decently usable by then? (Or I might vanish into $DAYJOB and wind up back in Japan busy with other things, who knows...)
