Hi, We try to use trac for requirements engeneering and we plan to use wiki, tags and tickets to organize requiremt specifications where a requeriment is hold in one wiki page, there is also a tag with the same name of the wike page.
now we can give multiple tickets the tag of a given requirement. Thats the plan so far. To add tag to a ticket it would be nice to lockup existing tickets like the "multiple remote" sample here: http://dev.jquery.com/view/trunk/plugins/autocomplete/ This gives you the option to add only existing tags. the should be of course also the option to add a new tag as well. To archive that it would be nice to know whats the best way to expose trac object i.e. Tag as a i.e. JSON-RPC service so a remote function like jquery autocomplete can access this. Thanks for any hint in the right direction... also the assign user funktion can be improved with this service because with many users the drop downbox can be long... If we have objects exposed as Service we can also do nice thinks like the flickr YUI example to search add remote resources to a wikipage.
