I am a new Trac user and am evaluating Trac as a tool at work. I really like the basic features of Trac but it seems we can only use Tract if we customize the ticket system and add a Document Management Wiki. I plan to try my hand in developing a new plugin for the Trac Ticket system and one for a Document Management Wiki. The Document Management plugin will be a Tree view of files, folders, and metadata. Metadata being owner, creation data, last modification, description, document type, locked/unlocked, dev. stage (beta, review, stable, final), ....
I want to develop these plugins using Eclipse 3.4 Ganymede + PyDev for my IDE. The problem is I do not know how to get started creating and configuring an Eclipse PyDev project for Trac and my new plugin. I am looking for a tutorial or document that will help me to create and configure a new Eclipse PyDev project for Trac. I would like to be able to test and view the Trac Wiki pages & plugins within the Eclipse IDE and PyDev debugger.
