Hello all,

As already discussed recently, it would be a good thing to release 0.12.3 "soon", if only to show that we're still alive. The other benefits include making available a few fixes for bugs that people keep hitting with 0.12.2 and last but not least it will be a good opportunity for getting our new team members involved in the tedious but oh-so much gratifying task of making a release ;-) (yes, Jun and Peter I'm talking about you ;-) ).

So the plan is the following:
 - look at the tickets remaining on the 0.12.3 milestone
- people not yet familiar with the release process could check TracDev/ReleaseChecklist, try to produce the packages on their own and do some testing for various configurations, DB back-ends and web front-ends - next week we should find a moment when we could gather on #trac to triage the 0.12.3 tickets, eventually finish some of them together and at least know precisely what we want to have done for that version - we'll also see at this occasion if we can enter the string freeze and if so, notify our translators

As this is merely a routine release without much pressure, it will really be a good occasion for me and Remy to show the others how they can make a Trac release!

And after that, full steam on 0.13 ;-)
