I previously raised this topic in (1), but it quickly diverged into other unrelated topics so I've created a new thread. Posts on Google groups are free, so you can create your own thread if you'd like to talk about something else ;)
We have a trac-hacks organization on GitHub (2). For users that choose to host their plugins on GitHub, particularly those that have not created a stub page for their plugin on trac-hacks.org, it would be nice if we could present an aggregated view of all trac plugins. Similarly for BitBucket, but I'm starting with GitHub. I first tried to find a feature such as "repository labels". That doesn't seem to exist on GitHub, but a few users have requested it. In addition I would like to mirror the repositories hosted on trac-hacks.org onto GitHub and BitBucket, like what is done for Trac (3), (4). I've started by inviting a bunch of users to join the trac-hacks organization. I found those users through a search for "trac plugin" and filtering the false positives. I've received a half-dozen positive responses in the first few hours, so you'll see more repositories appearing on the organization page. If you have a GitHub repository that you'd like to associate with the organization, please contact me or just reply here. If you are using a plugin hosted on GitHub, please let me know and I'll contact the author to see if they are interested in joining the trac-hacks organization. In a few days I'll write a blog post (5) on trac-hacks.org summarizing progress on aggregating plugins hosted on GitHub into the organization. - Ryan (1) https://groups.google.com/d/msg/trac-dev/VSq8vUal7gk/w9S4i5bUKUQJ (2) https://github.com/trac-hacks (3) https://bitbucket.org/edgewall/trac/overview#forks (4) https://github.com/edgewall/trac/network (5) http://trac-hacks.org/blog -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Development" group.
