Is it somehow possible for plugins to extend the capabilities of the 
built-in ticketquery?

Concrete suggestions for such functionality:


   - The Subtickets macro could extend ticketquery to be able to report the 
   number of subtickets. 
   - Or  report a list of subticket ids. 
   - Or in context of MasterTickets, an extension could eg. allow querying 
   for tickets having overdue blocking tickets.
