[Trac] Creating a Form

I was wondering what the best way is to create a form in Trac? I'm creating a Macro but don't know how to create a script for form processing? Do I need to create a plugin? Is it possible to create a script in htdocs? Are Macro functions callable via POST/GET?

A point in the right direction would be appreciated. Also, are there any resources out there to help with Macro development? I don't seem to really be able to find anything on MacroBazaar or TracHacks.
