Hi there,

This is my first post to this list, so please be gentle. :-)

I have set up a Trac environment on my hosting provider's web server
(they provide Trac 0.9.5) and set up a rewrite rule in Apache. So now
trac.mydomain.com/myproject works perfectly.

The problem I am having, however, is that I want trac.mydomain.com/ to
go directly to the one and only Trac environment I plan on having.

I can change the rewrite rule easily enough, but Trac itself still
generates URLs with the /myproject in it. (like /myproject/wiki/ThePage,
etc.)

My base_url setting in trac.ini is http://trac.mydomain.com/.

I have hunted all over the net and the Trac docs, but I have not found
any helpful information.

I know it's possible, since I have seen it on another site, but I cannot
seems to figure it out.

Do I need to use mod_python for a set up like that or is it possible
with mod_rewrite and/or mod_proxy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Krys Wilken
