Have you set the log level to 'DEBUG' ? smtp_user = trac smtp_server = smtp10.bellnet.ca Are you sure about these settings? This means "connect to bellnet.ca server, and identify on this server as 'trac' user". Is that what you really want to achieve - in order words, does bellnet.ca know about a 'trac' user ?
