I tried this, but it didn't help.

$ find . -name compat*
./trac/tests/functional/compat.py
./trac/tests/functional/compat.pyc
./trac/util/compat.py
./trac/util/compat.pyc

$ cd trac/tests/functional
$ sudo mv compat.py testcompat.py
$ sudo rm compat.pyc
