I know very little about python so I is likely I have buggered something up. I simply installed python2.4 (already installed with CentOS 5). Then I installed Trac using the easy_install. I copied an older backup of the Trac project data which loads great. This is the same process we did on the now dead box. I then installed plugins using easy install. Again the same process I used on the dead box.
