I went to the

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/textmate

and joined, but every time I try to post a message I get a rejection :
You are NOT SUBSCRIBED to this list.

I cancelled my membership, and joined again but keep getting the same
rejections, and there is no-one to contact to try to get this
resolved. I have done everything I can,

Subject: TM2 Fonts and Colors, Themes

I've been using BBEdit for a long time, and am very comfortable with
it, but have always enjoyed video training that used Textmate. In
particular lynda.com seems to use Textmate in a number of their video
training.

About a year ago I purchased TM1 and used it briefly. I realized that
there was a whole new learning curve, I quickly went back to BBEdit.

I recently began watching some new video training material and once
again I fell in love with the TM appearance, so I downloaded TM2, but
found that I could not edit the themes, the 'Preferences -> Fonts and
Colors', only 'Preferences -> Fonts'. I tried downloading from
http://wiki.macromates.com/Themes/UserSubmittedThemessome of the
Themes and dropping them in '~/Library/Application\ Support/TextMate/
Themes', and found that they could be seen with TM1, but not TM2.

>From previous versions of BBEdit until the current version the support
directory '~/Library/Application\ Support/BBEdit' has always stayed
the same, in fact I use two versions, version 9.x and 10.x, and they
both share the same support directory. This does not appear to be the
case with TM1 and TM2?

What I did find was that after modifying a php bundle, actually
'Bundles -> Edit Bundles... -> PHP -> Menu Actions -> PHPDoc ->
Header', after saving it and trying it out, I opened '~/Library/
Application\ Support/TextMate/' but found no reference of it there. I
did find '~/Library/Application\ Support/Avian/Bundles/PHP.tmbundle',
double clicked it and saw the changes I had just made, so apparently
when you make changes to the default bundles, the app creates a bundle
that over-rides the default items.

I option-dragged the '~/Library/Application\ Support/TextMate/Themes'
folder to '~/Library/Application\ Support/Avian/Themes', restarted
TM2, but using the Preferences Dialog could not find that TM2
recognized any of the themes in the support folder.

Mac Classic.tmTheme
Made of Code.tmTheme
mintBlue Dark.tmTheme

Any ideas how I can get this stuff to work in TM2 ?
