I was in Atlanta in 2010, and met Tim Hatch, John Hampton, Eli Carter and Noah Kantrowitz. We had quite a productive sprint after the event, with many bug fixes and a few new features (I remember writing the ticket deleter there). I wasn't able to attend in 2011. In 2012 in Santa Clara, I met Tim Hatch and Simon Cross (of Genshi Team). I unfortunately couldn't stay for the sprints, so I don't know if anything happened there. But with that single experience, I can tell: do try to organize a sprint at PyCon 2014. It's a wonderful experience, a very productive and fun environment, and you get to meet many great people. Work on Trac core, work on Trac plugins, work on other projects: it doesn't matter, as long as you're having fun. Also, pro tip: make sure you attend the testing BoF. -- Remy
