But this is not a problem, because the issue has been resolved for you months ago and you'll get an even better plugin by upgrading. Just do it. :-) Be sure to handle further issues similarly by looking at locally installed plugins first. I remember that we found a number of plugins that shared the troublesome upgrade check code, so chances are you have some of these installed at well.
