I followed your instructions and tested again the form, unfortunately
still no email received and the log still mention the sending action.
Everything goes as if there is no issue

It should be compatible with Trac 1.0+ after r17213.
You'll need to uninstall the old version, reinstall and re-enable the
plugin.
