To be more verbose:
In httpd.conf, I have among others:

<Location /trac/test/>
  [auth_ldap stuff]
  require valid-user
</Location>

Therefore, users /must/ authenticate. And we do not want to have anon
access, since customer A must not see the tickets for customer B.
Hope that clarifies my question.
We are still in the process of evaluating trac, and need to learn what
trac can do for us - and what not.
