Code chunks in messages don't appear too often, and they are usually small enough that highlight will bring little benefit. Implementing it is not entirely trivial, and adds another dependency on the tracker. Also if you want to support syntax highlight you might want to do it for diffs and C code too and that gets even more complicated. I'm therefore closing this. If someone comes up with a patch it might be considered.
