Ned Deily <[email protected]> added the comment: If the only reason for adding the suppression of the history is to make it easier to get to the last message, that does not strike me as a good trade-off. You can easily get to any message with a few keystrokes: End, then Up - whereas with the change, you now need to use the mouse which was not necessary before.
