Hieu Nguyen added the comment: This is already working correctly so I think this issue is not valid anymore. For example: http://bugs.python.org/user?username=&realname=ERIC&%40action=search and http://bugs.python.org/user?username=&realname=eric&%40action=search return the exact same result set.
