Indeed. It seems I missed to clean the build directory.

I'd be interested if you are able to reproduce my problem. Maybe you
can try the following:
1.) Run make distclean in you current svn checkout
2.) Run svn up -r690
3.) Run ./configure with the usual configure flags and make (&& make install)
4.) trackerd --reindex should work fine
5.) svn up
6.) make (&& make install)
7.) trackerd --reindex leads to the crash I described
8.) make clean && make (&& make install)
9.) trackerd --reindex works again

I'm still a bit puzzled by this and will try to investigate, if the
build system has a bug. Imho this shouldn't happen.
