I've moved to that branch, and I did apply all your other hints. Thanks a lot! My problem was indeed, that I did run trackerd from the build directory. Now I come until the error message (trackerd:31929): Tracker-WARNING **: no such table: cache.LiveSearches Tracker returns immediately the org.freedesktop.xesam.Search.SearchDone signal, without any hits.
