Hi all, Our aim is to be more integrated both in GNOME and KDE, but for that we need to offer:
* A nice, stable API * Efficient backend for the information and extensible * Support to much more information to run interesting queries * Proper development documentation After a lot of work on 0.6.9x we got some ideas how to get all this points, and that is now our goal for the 0.7.x series (that will result in a stable 0.8 release): * Minimalistic API: basically two methods (sparql query and sparql update, maybe some optional specific optimized methods...) * New ontology->schema translation, resulting in a more efficient DB * Real ontology support (in the 0.6.9x is quite a pain to add new classes) * Documentation... well... volunteers? :) I plan to talk about this in my GUADEC talk (it is accepted but i am not sure if i can be there on Sunday morning). Thanks for the interest, any help is welcome, Ivan On Tue, May 12, 2009 at 8:26 AM, Daniel Bo <[email protected]> wrote: > On Tue, May 12, 2009 at 2:13 PM, Jerry Tan <[email protected]> wrote: > > It is already there.
