Hi Hugo, Philip can provide more details, but IIRC there were no big difference in the gmime API between gmime 2.2 (what tracker 0.6.6 was using) and gmime 2.4 (what you need to use). Indeed, we had a patch in bugzilla to do the transition. It can help you.
Out of curiosity... why tracker 0.6.6 and not any other of our latest releases? The improvements in the code has been huge.
