Personally, I don't care much for GNOME politics, you can't please everyone. Tracker is a cross desktop project and just weighted slightly to the GNOME side (given the traction and integration we have there).

I do releases, I fix bugs, if people want to use the software, great, if they don't fine. I don't need summits to make decisions, I need a consistent medium like this list and IRC.
