I’d like tracker to index sound files in certain directories but ignore the
images in those same directories. I think that is impossible with the current
tracker.

Here is my use case:

Tracker indexes my photos & other images and my music collection. In the
directories containing my music there are often image files with cover art.
Most of them are called "cover.jpg”. I don’t want those to show up in my photo
collection, because there are too many and they make it difficult to find my
own images.

I can disable indexing in the music directories, but then my music isn’t
indexed either. I can make tracker ignore all files named “cover.jpg”, but
there may be files of that name in other directories that I do want indexed.
There seems to be no way to ignore files of a certain name (or of a certain
type) only in specific directories.
