option 1: buy the cig lighter adapter, chop of the lighter plug and
apply power poles.

option 2: disembowel a (preferably useless) battery pack to gain
access to the contacts, build a power supply circuit (if needed) and
use the battery case shell to house it.

I don't see this for the PX777, but option 3: buy a AA battery case
and use that to house the power supply and PP cable.

I haven't done this with a PX777, but I've done all 3 with other radios.
