Unfortunately, even with the key snipped off, the connector still
rocks when inserted. On an older T2-135 that I have, the connection
was actually intermittent. On a new one from a few weeks ago, I used
some pliers to (carefully) push the connector in a bit harder. I'm
hoping it will stay put, but a connector that was a perfect match
would be a lot better. If it's impossible to a find one, a solution
would be to actually replace the cable that goes to the back of the
radio with one that did set properly. It would easily be worth the
dollar or two to know there was a secure connection.
