That's a really long comment to be sending with every transmission and it'll reduce the number of packets that actually get received. The shorter the packet, the better its chances of making it through. If you need a long comment like that, set it to every 5 or 10 transmissions. Also, timestamps are almost never needed - the packets are timestamped when they're received. Turning the 'time' option off will save more bandwidth.
Altitude is also probably unnecessary for a ground vehicle. What beacon rates are you seeing at different speeds?
