Larry, You can also trick the Nuvi-350 to connect to the ot-2 (power from the side connector only) by turning it on, Wait until the Nuvi complains of no FMI connection, then Cycle the radio power quickly (if OT2 is powered from the radio). It will then hookup, no pulling connectors. After forgetting to do the trick a few times, I relented and soldered 5 volt wires to the back of the nuvi. Then installed a 5 volt regulator inside the OT2 to power it.
My other three Nuvi/OT2's all have the power cradle.
