Hi Technical Committee,

I'd like to suggest that we appoint Daniel (Lu, Ping (Daniel, HPIT-GADSC)
<[email protected]>) as a core reviewer for the connectivity team. Driver
development is currently almost entirely in Shanghai. At the moment the only
core reviewer well-versed in this area is Arvind. Which means if he goes on
vacation there is no coverage for the driver area.

Please respond +1 if you agree, 0 if you have no opinion, or -1 if you disagree
by the end of the day today. If you vote -1 please explain your reasoning.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I recall below message, could you add them in project team in WiKi page.
I suggest Daniel as core reviewer in connectivity team as he is core developer
for drivers.

Best Regards,
Jin, Jian (Seth Jin)

Hi Dave and Steve,

I don't see the SH developers who are working on Tradodion. Below is the name
list:

Lu, Ping (Daniel, HPIT-GADSC) <[email protected]> works on connectivity area Zuo,
Ruo-Yu (RuoYu, HPIT-GADSC) <[email protected]> works on connectivity area Qin,
Hao (Howard, HPIT-GADSC) <[email protected]> works on SQL area Xu, Kai-Hua (Kevin,
HPIT-DS CDC) <[email protected]> works on connectivity and transaction area

I think we need to add them to wiki pages and define role for them.

Best Regards,
Jin, Jian (Seth Jin)
Coming vacation: 31/May~3/June, Dragon Boat Festival

Hi,

If you are on the To: list, you're getting this e-mail because your name is
listed on one of the Trafodion teams:

https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Connect_Team
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Document_Team
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Infra_Team
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Install_Team
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/QA_Team
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/SQL_Team
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Transact_Team

If you are *NOT* working on Trafodion, let me know so I can remove you from
that team page. But if you *ARE* working on Trafodion, read on...

Most of the code is now in git, and check-ins are being controlled by the
Gerrit infrastructure. So to get changes accepted in the Master branch, they
must pass review. Who does review? You do! For a change to be accepted, it must
pass the regression tests, and it must get at least two +2's from core
reviewers. And no -1's.

So, if you haven't already, please sign up with a LaunchPad account (see
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Contributing_to_the_Software).

To perform code reviews, see
https://sea-wiki.hpl.hp.com/wiki/index.php/Code_Reviews. In particular, core
reviewers (you know who you are) should sign up in Gerrit to receive automatic
notifications of changes to the repositories where your component code resides.
If you need help with this, contact me or Steve Varnau.

Welcome to the brave new world of open source. May the Source be with you!

Dave
