Hi,

I've recently switched to the latest git version of Tramp
(commit 090f5f86fd0b42af464b989b1828d7ba89b8cbd2) and found that my
.bash_history is now emptied right after opening a remote file.

My previous Tramp version (git commit ID
13937f0560714ef10ce14476a510abd91fa11d3a ) doesn't have this bug.

I'm experiencing this issue on a clean (with --no-init-file) Emacs 24.4 on
a Linux x86-64 machine.

Steps to reproduce the bug:
emacs --no-init-file

(add-to-list 'load-path "/path/to/tramp")
(require 'tramp)
(setq tramp-verbose 9)
M-x open-file /mechanus:/dev/shm/test

See the contents of tramp buffers in the attached files.
Feel free to ask for any additional info.

Thanks,
Oleg
