In tramp-methods, there are entries which invoke "ssh" to get a remote connection. There are also entries which invoke "ssh1" or "ssh2".
Maybe SSH v1 is so old now that it doesn't make sense anymore to keep the "numbered" methods? They could be replaced with methods which do "ssh -1" or "ssh -2".
