Lars (see Cc) is reporting that he needs to set tramp-chunksize to 500; otherwise large transfers via his inline connection don't work. (He sees it when the Perl mime-coding implementations are sent.)
Is anyone else here using Redhat 8.0? Could you report whether you need to set tramp-chunksize? If you do NOT need to set it, may I also ask you to post (or mail me) the values of the variables system-type, system-configuration, and system-configuration-options? And finally, it'd be great if you could run the Lisp code that's mentioned in C-h v tramp-chunksize RET and report your findings. Maybe it's a Redhatism that tramp-chunksize is needed, but I'm thinking it might be something specific to Lars' setup. -- A preposition is not a good thing to end a sentence with. _______________________________________________ Tramp-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/tramp-devel
