Lars (see Cc) is reporting that he needs to set tramp-chunksize to
500; otherwise large transfers via his inline connection don't work.
(He sees it when the Perl mime-coding implementations are sent.)

Is anyone else here using Redhat 8.0?  Could you report whether you
need to set tramp-chunksize?  If you do NOT need to set it, may I
also ask you to post (or mail me) the values of the variables
system-type, system-configuration, and system-configuration-options?
And finally, it'd be great if you could run the Lisp code that's
mentioned in C-h v tramp-chunksize RET and report your findings.

Maybe it's a Redhatism that tramp-chunksize is needed, but I'm
thinking it might be something specific to Lars' setup.
